These smaller assist hooks will work well on the 150-400g jigs offered by JYG Pro and other manufacturers, specifically focusing on the slow pitch jigging style. If you’re looking for a heavier wire hook you can use with more drag for tuna I would look at the Mustad J-Assist and Owner Monster Stinger hooks. The light wire design of these hooks makes them perfect for setting the hook with a softer action rod, the razor sharp point decrease resistance and give the hook better penetration.
